Why mulch around trees and plants? Mulch covers and cools soil, minimizing evaporation. Proper coverage (4” thick) will also naturally help reduce weed growth as well as slow soil erosion. Over time, mulch will decompose, adding nutrients to your soil. |  |

Bark Chips
Our bark chips, like our mulch, are a combination of Western Larch and Douglas Fir, and range in size from 1-3”. Bark chips tend to look more decorative than mulch, however they provide the same benefits. |  |
