Top Soil:
Screened black dirt, best for new lawns, sod and repairs to existing lawns.

Fill Soil:
Fill Soil is unscreened black dirt that can be used for fill and grades, not recommended for new lawns or sod.  May contain rocks and clay.

Garden Mix:
Cliff’s special blend!  A combination of screened top soil, compost, and both bagged and raw peat moss.  Our garden mix is an excellent product for flower beds and vegetable gardens.

Premium Garden Mix:
Similar to our Garden Mix, this blend also contains sand.  Ideal for smaller areas; the sand allows it to break apart very easily.

Mushroom Compost:
Sterilized Mushroom Compost is excellent as a slow release fertilizer when mixed into soil for gardens.  It is steam pasturized, so all weed seeds are dead.

Peat Moss:
Peat Moss is a soil additive made up of decomposed plant matter.  It is used for breaking up compacted soil and allows for better water retention.

Concrete Sand:
A coarse washed sand designed for light concrete work.  This sand can also be used as a leveling material for slate, pavers and sidewalk blocks.

Play Sand:
A fine grain white sand perfect for sandboxes and that back yard beach volleyball court!

Fill Sand:
A fine unwashed sand.  Can be used as a packing material.

Grit:
This is a 1/4“ minus rock that is good for ice control.  Can also be used as a drainage material in soil.

A fine, easy to work with clay, used for raising grade, as well as for fill.

3/4“ Road Crush:
Road Crush is made up of 3/4“ rock, clay and fines.  This material packs hard and is used for driveways, parking areas or as a base under concrete, ashphalt, pavers and retaining walls.		 Road Crush (3/4")
3/4“ Washed Rock:
A standard crushed gravel, this washed rock allows for excellent drainage.  It can be used for post holes, window wells, pads, etc...		 Washed Rock (3/4")
1/2“ Dog Run/Pea Gravel:
Smooth rounded rock.  This product is excellent for kennels and as a base for playgrounds and swing sets.		 Dog Run Gravel (1/2")
3/4“ Dog Run/Pea Gravel:

3/8“ Alberta Colored Rock:
A mix of light pastel colors, this rock blends well with almost any landscaping project.  Ideal for pathways.

3/4“ Alberta Colored Rock:
As above, but in a larger 3/4” size.  This rock works well alongside walkways and for parking pads.

2“ Alberta Colored Rock:
Our most popular rock, this light pastel colored stone blends well with almost any color.  Perfect for rock beds and gardens.

2 - 4“ Gabion:
A larger member of the Alberta Colored Rock family, this rock is ideally suited for water features and as a more colorful version of field stone.  Can also be special ordered in 4-8” fieldstone size.

3/4“ Shale:
Over time, shale breaks down in size.  This makes this red/orange colored rock perfect for pathways and driveways.  This product will come in 3/4” and smaller.  Please note, all shale contains fines (small pieces of rock and crushed rock fragments).  This is what allows the shale to pack down so well.

2“ Shale:
Also red/orange in color, this 2“ and smaller shale works well for rock beds.  Please note, all shale contains fines.

2“ California Rainbow:
Filled with bright colors, this rounded rock is perfect for water features and ponds, and can also be used for rock beds.  Sometimes called Montana Rainbow rock.

1 1/2“ Okanagan Peach:
This peach colored rock blends well with tan shades.  Also known as Sunset Pink.

Limestone Fines:
This grey 1/4“ minus limestone works wonderfully for pathways and driveways, as well as around slate walkways and patios.  Can also be used as a base for slate.

Blue/grey in color, this 3/4“ minus limestone works for both pathways and rock gardens.

This midnight grey limestone is 1“ minus in size.  A very classy look.

A beautiful purple color with quartz throughout to give it a brilliant shine.  An excellent product for walkways and driveways.  Please note, this product contains fines.

Bark Mulch:
Bark mulch is an excellent ground cover for a number of reasons.  Mulch covers and cools soil, minimizing evaporation.  A proper coverage (4” thick) will also naturally reduce weed growth as well as slow soil erosion.  Over time, mulch will decompose, adding nutrients to your garden. 		Bark Mulch
Bark Chips:
Our bark chips are a combination of Western Larch and Douglas Fir, and range in size from 1-3” (medium chips) and 3-5” (large chips).  The medium and large chips are more decorative than the mulch, however they provide the same benefits.
